It is important to keep up with a daily routine for a healthy body and mind. Here are the steps for a healthy morning routine:

1. Make silence your priority upon waking up

Set aside time each morning for quiet reflection, whether you meditate or sit still for ten minutes. My daily routine would be incomplete without at least 20 minutes of sitting. What a profoundly uplifting effect it has had on my life.

Never criticize yourself for how you feel during any part of the event. Sit there and see if you can strike a balance between letting go and paying attention.


2. Create your affirmations as promises to yourself

An affirmation is a statement that serves to reorient one’s attention toward a positive goal. And his take on conventional wisdom is refreshing. If you want your affirmations to have any effect, you should avoid affirming your current identity or future aspirations. 

One could set this as a daily goal to have a healthy morning routine. On what do you wish to zero in? In what way do you hope to feel? Affirm or set an intention first thing in the morning, and then see if you can spot any discrepancies between your actions and thoughts throughout the day.

4. Incorporate a healthy morning routine with a workout

If you exercise for even a short time, you’ll get a burst of energy that will help you get out of bed faster. Do jumping jacks for a minute. Whatever it takes to get you out of bed. If you have a regular exercise routine after work, that’s fantastic! Leave it as is. Try to fit in some light cardio or stretching first thing in the morning; you’ll be amazed at how much better the rest of your day goes.


5. Read a few pages every day

If you want to become a better manager, get in shape, or have happier relationships, you must read a book. There are so many books available that you’re bound to find one that resonates with you. Even if you only read five pages per day, by the end of a month, you will have read the equivalent of one self-help book or 12 books in total.


6. Put your thoughts on paper to clarify your goals

 Practising gratitude first thing in the morning can improve your outlook. A few minutes are all it takes to change the game, whether you write them down or remember them.
